Seeking Help

Over the past few weeks, the SpouseBUZZ team has been inundated with requests from milspouses seeking help and advice on everything from financial matters to child custody matters to marital problems. While we are sympathetic to everyone’s plight, whatever it may be, we are not professionally trained to deal with these complex issues, and we certainly can’t dispense legal advice.

What we do in situations like those mentioned above, is to point milspouses in the right direction. We turn them over to someone who has the means, know-how, experience, training and resources to help. Ninety-nine percent of the time, that means that we recommend Military OneSource. Military OneSource offers free, confidential counseling and they are available 24/7. Their motto is: "You Name it, We Can Help." I can’t stress enough how helpful this resource is for military families. If you need it, use it. Military OneSource is there for you, no matter how large or small you think your problem is.

If you do anything today, bookmark this link and write down this number: 1-800-342-9647. Keep it with you at all times, you never know when you may need it.
