That was a great read! That is the one thing I can't help but take away from this military life. Viewing my complaints and struggles and 'bad' days and 'bad' moments through eyes that don't ignore real struggle and real resolve.

These women and men are more resilient than anything I've ever seen.
I've actually witnessed them getting to their feet for senior officers when they had absolutely no business to be moving.
I'm of a mind to believe that if they WANT to come back and be a productive member of their Service, then by all means, Mind Over Matter — we should figure a way to make it happen.
I know where they can get some adaptive uniforms!
