Testimonials from past events:

Not much I can say except WOW! It was an awesome day. It is a day that turned my life as a military wife into a different direction. It made me put into perspective some things that I guess I just didn’t have a grasp on yet. – Sgt’s Wife, SpouseBUZZ LIVE Ft. Hood

Thank you for a wonderful event. Loved it. When you have another one I want to come and bring all the young wives from my unit. What a wonderful experience, absolutely worth the babysitter and dragging myself out bed. Thank you!!!!!! – ArmyMom, SpouseBUZZ LIVE Ft. Bragg

I walked out a bit shelled shocked from having had such a great time and being treated like a VIP for the day. And to think I actually considered not going! – Navy Wife, SpouseBUZZ LIVE San Diego

It was a great day. Thank you guys for coming out. I had no clue what I was in for but so glad I went! – photogbreezy, SpouseBUZZ LIVE Hampton Roads

Darn! I registered a while back but will not be able to attend–my business in Texas was moved up a week so I am no longer in the Lone Star State. Oh, well. Y'all have fun!

Curious; I'm already registered to go to the Tacoma one (it's not in Seattle), but I'm thinking I'd like to try and drag a friend along with me. My question is in regard to childcare; she has an 8 month old, and I am wondering whether there will be childcare available, whether she would need to arrange childcare beforehand, or whether she would be welcome to bring her little one to the event. Thanks!

Emily – it's fine, tell your friend to bring her baby with her. We love babies…

About bringing children: Just attended the San Antonio event, which was almost great, except for those small children in attendance whose parents declined to take them out when they became loud. Several older children attended who were able to keep themselves occupied and didn't distract anyone else.
But one child who was brought by his parents — who sat in front! — screeched incessantly, either in play or in frustration, and it was really disruptive. In one rare attempt to quiet the child, the parents gave him an electronic device that then blipped and beeped obtrusively.
The panelists and facilitators — and all the other attendees — were very gracious in attempting to overlook the obvious distraction. But it was really discourteous to those who hosted the event and to everyone else in attendance.
If you have a choice, why bring a child to a situation in which he is bound to fail? (i.e., to a discussion-type forum lasting about 4 to 5 hours!)
If you don't have a choice, try being courteous to those who have worked so hard to put on the event, and to the other attendees, by sitting near the back, in a location where you can readily bring your child out of the room when he or she begins to become a distraction to others.
