Army families, here's your "one-stop-shop" for information on your benefits.

The Army's G-1 staff launched a redesigned website that consolidates all Army benefits information in one location. The MyArmyBenefits website has calculators that allow Soldiers to see how much money they can expect to receive upon retirement. The site also lists information on 150 different benefits ranging from child care to education assistance.

Fact sheets are provided on a variety of Family services, recreation programs, Space-A travel, Army Emergency Relief, health care, Spouse employment assistance and many other programs. In addition, there are 54 state and territory fact sheets that break out different benefits for Soldiers who live in each state.

Very comprehensive!

Thanks to Rhonda.

The link is not working for me. Is there a problem with the site?

At first, I thought, "Oh God, not another website".
After browsing, I can see significant value adding features that many other Army info portals lack.
    1. Fact sheets are organized according to component.
    2. Fact sheets have a date.
    3. Fact sheets have an author/agency so you know who has compiled the info and where you can get more info.
    4. And my favorite–a Google search feature. We've turned a corner here people!
I can't quite agree that it's a "one stop shop" since it links out to AKO, MALT, OneSource, ArmyFamiliesOnline, etc, etc.
It is a step in the right direction in terms of organizing the masses of information out there.

  3. I think that is a nice new site with provided calculator. I've seen that most of what's included in the site are just the same in VA site – of course they should be. At least the site is concentrated on one topic =)
    Thanks for sharing anyways!

Vicky – Were you able to get the link to work? I had no trouble.
CR – I agree. There is so much information scattered around, and sometimes it's very difficult to figure out where to go, or which source to trust.

can you find out if a dependent is on the insurance online or do you have to actually go to one of the TRICARE offices near your residence?
