Military Wife Quote: I Thought I Was The Only One

It’s easy to feel so very, very alone in the military — especially when your spouse is gone, and your children or fur-babies are running amuck.

But if anything is true about military Spousedome it’s this: you are not the only one. Many have gone before you and many are going with you now.

I when I'm having a hard day I always look at this vintage old "Loose lips sink ships" poster I have its from WW2. I remind myself it took months for letters to get exchanged, and they didn't have fb, twitter, email, or skype calls. So it if twenty days with out word it ok I can and will survive.

Whenever I start to feel sorry for myself I remind myself of those who have it harder than me and of everything good that I do have. Things could always be worse and I will survive whatever current struggle I am going through.
