Here is a sweet little contest for all of us who love our service members. Sweet’N Low is asking spouses, fiancees, girlfriends, boyfriends and family members to share a photo of the “soldier they are sweet on” with Sweet’N Low. Contestants are asked to post a story of 300 words or less explaining how their loved-one has represented our country while serving in one of the five branches of the U.S military.
To make sure that they can always stay in touch with their sweet companion, the grand prize winner of the contest will receive a branded Netbook and Skype card, total value of $500.00. Prize packs worth $50.00 for the serviceperson and a $25.00 Skype card for their loved-one will also be granted on a weekly basis.
“Sweet’N Low’s Sweet On a Soldier sweepstakes is our way of saying thank you to those who are putting their lives on the line to protect our country,” said Steven Eisenstadt, CEO of Cumberland Packing Corp., the manufacturer of Sweet’N Low. Didn't I just read an article on this website about not posting pictures in uniforms on facebook???
Let's pretend this was a test to see if you were paying attention! You passed. Now you get two points! Good work :-)
Good point! I went right back to check that post at http://spousebuzz.com/blog/2012/07/6-surprise-ops…. It is a good suggestion to read that post all the way through before you participate in the contest. You can post a picture in uniform, but make sure the picture does not reveal name or job identification. I'd use the little blurring eraser on iPhoto before I would upload.
This sounds really cool! However, the link appears to be broken. :(
The link on Facebook IS currently broken. You can submit entries to:sweetnlowbrand@gmail.com.
I found the proper link: http://www.facebook.com/notes/sweetn-low/sweet-on…
Whoever wrote the original press release had the brand's Facebook page linked incorrectly.
Thanks Pattie. I have the link in the post fixed now (and the PR chick all worried….)!!
