Military Wife Quotes: Long Distance Love

Paige, a SpouseBuzz reader, submitted this quote as her military wife mantra:  “Distance does to love what wind does to fire. It extinguishes the weak and feeds the strong.”

Love that.  Have seen that in action.  Plan to be whipped up into a blaze by distance every time.

Yet Paige’s mantra got us to thinking about other quotes we like about long distance love in military life.  Here are a few of our favorites:

How about a quote from a military service member who remains deeply in love with his amazing wife after 23 progressively better years of marriage and who is currently working on a third year of geo-bachelor assignments…"True love makes the world a smaller place…I only need to think of you, and you are here." – Jim
