Update: Voting is now closed. Check back in May when the winner is announced!

We've told you about the Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year award before. Each year military spouses from around the country are nominated to be honored with the Military Spouse of the Year title. There are base-level nominations, a whole parade of online popularity votes, a duo of panels that weighs in and five spouses who take home the honor for their specific branch.

And you are about to get your chance to weigh in on the final vote for this year.

Vote here March 4.

So far for 2015 we've been able to nominate spouses, vote for base-level winners and vote for the winners of the different branches.

Military Spouse Magazine announced who those winners are last month. Unlike in years past, when military spouses known nationally throughout the community like Tara Crooks of Army Wife Network or Karen Guenther, founder of Semper Fi Fund were singled out as branch winners, this year the branch level winners are not widely known.

And that makes this even more exciting. Because while the branch level winners of years past certainly deserved the recognition, it's fun to see people who have not already made a national mark take the stage for their chance to shine.

You can go here to learn all about the individual branch winners and pick who will get your vote March 4.

All of the branch winners will attend AFI Military Spouse of the Year Award luncheon on May 7 where the final winner will be announced. We will be there, too, so we'll make sure you hear it straight from us!
